“Thank you and all the people in Metz for your wonderful organization of the ITSS. I really enjoyed the discussion with you and all the students and professors from all over Europe. And additionally we enjoyed the fine French food, the marvelous trip by a boat on the Moselle river . Besides science the visit of the Cathedral  Saint-Étienne was one of the high lights of our stay in Metz. It is a pity that we did not have enough time. I am sure that I and my family will come again to this wonderful area to have more experience with the cultural richness of Metz and its surrounding”.

Professor Peter Meissner – Technical University of Darmstadt

“I have been impressed by the pleasant and effective structures of the Supélec and of the Technopole, that have hosted the School; but also by the beauty, cleanliness and historical background of the town of Metz. It is the mixture of a glorious past and a continuing effort to build the future that makes Europe (and Metz) a pleasant place to live in”

Professor Georgio Leuzzi, University of L’Aquila (Rome)

"The Summer School at SUPELEC in Metz was particularly enjoyable since  we all from all over Europe experienced great hospitality, an impressive Lorraine Region with a great history and a beautiful City of Metz with the wide waterways of the river Moselle. It was certainly for many of us a great discovery of a rich culture since we all came from many countries with our own traditions. Remarkable were also the variety of local-style dinners experienced during this week. We thank the organizers for this  excellent event!"

Professor Hans Hartnagel – Technical University of Darmstadt

The 20th ITSS edition was absolutely great. Moreover, I would like to thank you and your team for the cordiality and   the friendliness. I think that Metz is a beautiful and interesting city, not only to visit to, but also to live in. The Metz cathedral with its enormous windows is wonderful.

Professor Lucio SCUCCHIA, University of Rome Tor Vergata

The summer school was wonderfully organised, I expect it to be very educative and stimulating for the students in view of the scope of the  lectures and the international experience the students can gain. Supelec  is an excellent location for such summer school and also for other workshops. I like very much the city of Metz and the Lorraine region. I have also found unexpectedly interesting the excursion to the mines, it was very educative.

Professor Michael Feiginov – Technical University of Darmstadt
