Invitation to participate |

You are cordially invited to Metz for the 20th edition of the International Travelling Summer School on Microwaves and Lightwaves 2010.
3,000 years of history have given the city of Metz, lying at the confluence of the Moselle and Seille rivers, its unique character, with its heritage of outstanding beauty so remarkably preserved in a haven of greenery. Since the times of Saint-Arnould, bishop of Metz in the 7th century, the city has welcomed within its walls some great men whose influence has marked the worlds of literature, politics, science and the arts.

Bordered by gardens and dotted with lakes, Metz is an invitation to discover its picturesque trail. Its historical quarters live side-by-side with its European elements, adding a touch of urban chic in the form of architectural wonders and the up-coming, highly fashionable Centre Pompidou-Metz (opening May 2010).
