Workshop on Transform Based on Independent Component Analysis for Audio, Video and Hyperspectral Images Data Reduction and Coding
Presentation

The aim of this workshop is to provide an overview of the Transform Based Independent Component Analysis (ICA) methods in different applications such as audio, video and multi- or hyper-spectral image processing (data reduction and coding). By transform based on ICA, we mean any representation of multi-dimensional data that maximizes the reduction of redundancy between components.

A non-exhaustive list of subjects:

  • Redundancy and diversity measures and criteria
  • New ICA and source separation methods based on static, dynamic and spectral distribution diversities
  • Combining different transform methods and ICA for a better compression
  • Construction of dictionaries for sparse coding
  • Signal and image analysis for coding only objects of interests
The selected papers will be edited in a proceeding and distributed to all the participants.
